LomoChrome Color’92

Inspired by the 90s, when the Lomographic Society International was born, this new color negative film aims to recreate the iconic colors of that golden age for the modern film shooter. As part of Lomography’s mission to make analogue photography accessible to everyone, this new emulsion will be available in three formats: 35 mm, 120 and 110. This is the next step in Lomography’s film production journey, a completely NEW Color Negative film formula since the reveal of the successful LomoChrome Metropolis film in 2019.

With its’ 400 iso and good exposure latitude, this C-41 color negative film is very versatile and forgiving. LomoChrome Color ’92 has noticeable but beautiful grain, cool undertones, and faithful color that produces a burst of retro charm with a nostalgic analog look. Due to its unique look, it stands out from most normal color film stocks on the current market which is why we think it will be well received by the film community.

Fantome Kino

Fantome Kino 8 is one of the two low ISO Lomo stocks. It has extremely high contrast and , low exposure latitude, and very fine grain. This film is best for daytime shooting but du to its very high contrast and lower exposure latitude we recommend paying very close to the light, avoid high contrast and trying to shoot in even well lit scenes. When shooting in daylight you can shoot handheld if you have a lens faster than f/2.8 but if you want to shoot at f/28 or higher you will need a tripod. When shooting with this film we recommend metering for the shadows/erring on overexposure.

Babylon Kino

Babylon Kino 13 is one of the two low ISO Lomo stocks. It has very low contrast and , good exposure latitude, and very fine grain. Its low contrast and very good exposure latitude produces good detail in shadows as well as highlights. Due to its very slow iso we recommend shooting in daylight – when shooting in daylight you can shoot handheld if you have a lens faster than f/2.8 but if you want to shoot at f/28 or higher you will need a tripod. When shooting with this film we recommend metering for the shadows/erring on overexposure.

LomoChrome Metropolis

Lomography has made 3 different LomoChrome stocks over the years – turquoise and purple, both of which are very recognizable due to their intense color effects and the third and newest version, LomoChrome Metropolis. Metropolis has much more mild color effects which for us, makes it more of an everyday film while the LomoChrome purple is the type of film we’d save for special occasions or for places we’ve photographed many times before. Metropolis desaturates colors, mutes tones and adds a good amount of contrast. It has amazing exposure latitude witch allows you to shoot it from 100-400iso. These were all shot at 200sio which is our favorite for LomoChrome purple & Metropolis.

Potsdam kino BW

Potsdam 100 has strong contrast, bold tones, and very fine grain which produces beautiful tonal transitions from bright highlights to dark shadows.

Please note that this film often exhibits unusual streaking or other artifacts that at first glance appear to be processing-related, they are not. This is a known issue with this film stock.

Berlin Kino 400

Berlin Kino 400 is a cine film inspired by 1960’s German Cinema has very low contrast with subtle tones and while the grain is more noticeable, it has a classic and beautiful look to it.

Lady Grey

Lady Gray 400 is has been our most shot Lomo B&W over the years – we love it’s strong contrast, bold tones, and it’s grain which is relatively fine for 400 iso. Its 400 iso preforms well in low light as well as bright daylight, making it a very versatile film.

Earl Grey

Earl Gray 100 resembles Lady Grey 400 but with much finer grain which makes it ideal for shooting on bright sunny days. it has higher contrast, strong tones, and good exposure latitude.

LomoChrome Purple

LomoChrome Purple is a color negative film that captures life in a very unique way.

LomoChrome Purple film lets you explore the color spectrum like you never have before. Blue becomes green, green becomes purple, yellow becomes pink. Red tones stay red, which keeps skin colors natural in a sea of trippy tone. Aside from its remarkable color quality, the New LomoChrome Purple delivers vibrant photos with superb sharpness. You can shoot it in any weather condition and achieve breathtaking effects without using any special filters. Control the color changes in your photos by selecting different ISO settings. Lomo 800

Probably our favorite Lomo film because it’s comparable to Portra 800 but much cheaper. This high speed color negative film is great for lowlight shooting but still preforms well for daylight shooting as well. Its grain is very noticeable but looks really good! It has mild saturation and contrast.

Lomo 400

An inexpensive color negative film that has good exposure latitude, strong contrast, and rich color. Its 400iso makes it very versatile and the grain is noticeable but pleasant looking. It’s a great film for point-n-shoots and everyday shooting.

Lomo 100

Lomo 100 is our favorite budget daylight shooting film. It’s much cheaper than Ektar 100 and in comparison to Ektar – it has very mild contrast and low saturation. Its grain is very noticeable for a 100 iso film but looks good.
